It's been a while since we've posted anything here, and the year is coming to an end. The last year has been Quite a roller coaster for WBC. In the last year, we've all had some major transitions in our personal lives, and have started working with other bands as well.
On the Beef front, we have limited the number of shows we've been doing, and working on new material when we're able to. Our hope is to have an album's worth of material for the upcoming year. We've had ideas for a new album since we released "Drankin' Songs"... since before the release actually, as that album was released well after it was in the can, as we were waiting for Dana's return from... her 6 month vacation in Utah. We have played a couple of the new songs for over a year now; "I Like Guns" and "So Stupid" are actually on some live recordings we have. We'll keep y'all posted on any future ongoings their.
In other news, some of you may have noticed our bandmates Billy Dreamer has a new drummer; that being none other than our own Mike Rowan. He's been playing with them for a few months now, and has added a dimension to that band that really makes them stand out. There's also some rumblings of Billy Dreamer adding a rhythm guitarist... more on that as it develops.
So as we stand now, the only shows we have booked are the next Punkfest, as well as Steel Bridge Songfest. I'll be posting more info as it develops, but fear not. We haven't gone anywhere, and we haven't forgotten about you.
